Waynetown - Mrs. Blanche May Williams, 78, a lifelong resident of the Waynetown community died at 6 a.m. Friday in her home, two miles southwest of Waynetown.  She had been seriously ill two weeks with a heart ailment and in failing health five years.  Born Oct 3, 1877, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of Marion and Sidney Blackford Ellis.  She married Otis Williams July 22, 1896.  The husband died April 9, 1955.

Mrs. Williams was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church.  Surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Olsen of near Waynetown who was reared by Mrs. Williams; three half sisters: Mrs. Pearl Atwood and Mrs. Hattie Berry, both of California and Mrs. Eva Surface, 705 S Green St, Crawfordsville and a great grandchild.  Three children preceded her in death besides the husband.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown, followed by burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Rev. James F. Pfouts will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
